When people think about technology and math, they think that they work perfectly together. This is true most of the time because technology is done directly from math. Many studies have been done that shine a light to both sides of this. For example, this article is a study on students who had a math class that was done mostly with technology. Many of the students felt uneasy and felt like their learning was harder than having a straight lecture, mainly due to the usage of the new technology that they had to use without prior knowledge. They developed anxieties about the usage of this - and some other technologies - when it came to math.

Overall technology can be a double edge sword when it comes to teaching, depending on how it's implemented into the class room. The students who had strong lessons through a source they knew nothing of fell behind and had growing anxieties and worries, while the teachers who used it as a resource guide taught better lessons and made more creative plans.
